It is natural for Sawara cypress wood to release small amounts of resin on the surface. This resin contributes to the wood‘s distinctive fresh cypress aroma and is completely natural.
If the surface feels sticky, simply wipe away the resin with a cloth lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol.
